Hang on to your umbrella this evening and through the overnight.
Light to moderate showers will continue to move in from the south. The rain is firing up ahead of a warm front. As that warm front moves through Northeast Ohio overnight into early Tuesday morning, a few thunderstorms may also develop. We're not expecting anything severe; however, a few of the storms could produce heavy rain, vivid lightning and gusty winds as overnight lows fall into the low/mid 60s.
Have your wet weather gear ready to go Tuesday morning as well. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are in the forecast to get things going. Though a few storm chances are still possible Tuesday afternoon, they should be more isolated in nature. Hang on to your umbrellas just to be safe. Temperatures will be noticeably warmer in the mid/upper 70s for highs.
We're stuck in a wet pattern through midday on Wednesday before finally seeing drier and cooler air push in Wednesday evening and into this weekend with more of a fall-like feel.
