CLEVELAND — The combination of our hot and humid atmosphere and a frontal boundary continue to produce scattered showers and storms across northern Ohio, some of which have been potent. Storms will eventually wind down overnight with areas of fog and muggy conditions. Low temps will drop to near 70.
All of the shower and storm activity that we had today should lead to a quieter Monday as the action sinks south for a bit. We'll likely have lingering clouds with some sunshine and highs in the low to mid 80s. A few showers can't be ruled out by our atmosphere should be pretty worked over Monday.
By Tuesday that frontal boundary lifts back north bringing a return to a few showers and storms. By Wednesday a stronger cold front from the Midwest will swing through the area bringing a final round of showers and storms, some of which may be strong, before we clear out with cooler, drier air late week!
I'll be all over these storms this evening on Twitter (@wintzweather) and Facebook (facebook.com/wintzweather) for the latest.
