Love was in the air today. Not, like, romantic love or anything, but an appreciation. Northeast Ohioans LOVE this weather!

Cleveland made it to 77° this afternoon thanks to sunny skies and a wonderful southerly breeze. Akron-Canton (74°) and Mansfield (73°) also made it well into the 70s.

Now here comes rain that will keep us cooler for a few days.

An upper level low to our south will spread more clouds and rain showers over the area tonight and Tuesday.

Then as it slowly departs Wednesday, we'll end up with more rain showers and cooler temperatures. As a matter of fact, areas close to the Lake won't make it out of the 40s. Farther south it'll be a bit warmer.

This time of year our cool downs are quite as cool and don't last quite as long. Our warm ups are a little warmer and last a little longer.

I've had quite a few people ask about planting flowers or veggies. Keep in mind we can still get frost well into May, but the chances are fading. If you don't mind covering everything up (just in case...), go for it. I tend to be a little more frugal and don't gamble with my plant investments.

Next week is looking warmer!
