If you feel like you've been reading the same thing on our wkyc.com weather updates, I promise you we've been updating it regularly! IT'S THIS STUBBORN WEATHER PATTERN.
The same old area of low pressure continues to sit and spin around the Ohio Valley and we've had large areas of rain rotating around it--but much of it has missed northern Ohio the last two days. I think things change on Monday as the low slides a bit further southeast. We'll likely start our Monday dry in most spots, but with some daytime heating we have a good chance at afternoon showers and even a few storms.
Tuesday we'll see more of the same.
A sliver of drier air looks like Wednesday, limiting rainfall chances to mainly our eastern locations. On Thursday, a cold front will finally move in from the northwest helping to set off a few more showers and storms, but more importantly, it'll help clear and "reset" our airmass with drier, more comfortable air for the weekend!
