Cleveland-based Medwish International helping Hurricane Eta victims

CLEVELAND, Ga. — Cleveland-based Medwish International is responding to the emergency needs of those affected by the devastation created by Hurricane Eta in Central America.

Medwish is in contact with healthcare volunteers and facilities in the hurricane-devastated area that are taking care and treating victims of this catastrophic storm. 

Medwish has been working with Helping Hands for Honduras and has deployed 19 pallets of emergency medical aid to the Soto Cano Air Base in Honduras, with more shipments in the works.

On Saturday, November 21 from 8:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Medwish International will host a donation drive to collect donations for the relief effort. 

The donation drive will be held at Medwish's World Headquarters at 1625 E. 31 Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44114.

Medwish is seeking donated items of Ace bandages, adult diapers, baby diapers, baby wipes, Band-Aids, cleaning gloves, first aid supplies, garbage bags, hand sanitizer, menstrual pads, Neosporin, finger pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, thermometers, orthopedic braces, shampoo, soap, and toothbrushes.

Financial donations can be made online at www.medwish.org/eta. Checks can be mailed to Medwish International at 1625 E. 31 Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44114.

Medwish International is a Cleveland-based nonprofit organization that provides humanitarian aid to people in need all over the world by supplying useable medical equipment and supplies.
