ODOT crews ready for Northeast Ohio winter storm

Make sure you give the plows plenty of room to operate

CLEVELAND — ODOT workers are already on the clock preparing for the snow.

The department tells WKYC that crews started 12 hour shifts on Friday evening.

Their goal is to have roads back up to speed within two hours of the snowfall coming to an end.

While the crews are out there working, make sure you are doing your part in making their jobs easier.

"When you see those green and amber lights, we ask that you give them plenty of room to work," says ODOT's Amanda McFarland. "Visibility could be bad so give them a nice bubble to do what they're doing."
