GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio — While a large swath of Northeast Ohio didn't see any snowflakes flying Thursday night into Friday morning, it was a much different story in other areas where several inches piled up.

That's the typical outcome with lake effect snow where accumulation totals can vary greatly just a few miles apart.
