CLEVELAND — The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the southwestern portion of Ashtabula County and the Northwestern portion of Trumbull County, in effect until 9:45 p.m. Friday.
Officials say up to two inches of rain has already fallen from thunderstorms in the area, with up to another inch and a half possible. Orwell is one of the localities expected to be hit hardest.
Those near areas such as creeks, country roads, or farms are urged to get to high ground, while drivers are reminded to "turn around, don't drown." Stay with the 3News weather team for updates as this situation develops.
