CLEVELAND — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of two Northeast Ohio counties.
The National Weather Service says the warning for Southwest Carroll County and Southern Tuscarawas County will be in effect until at least 1:45 p.m. Communities expected to be hit hardest include Urichsville and Dellroy, as well as Interstate 77 between mile markers 56 and 77.
Officials are warning residents to be on the lookout for quarter-sized hail and possible flash flooding from "torrential" rain. Citizens are asked to avoid high floors in their buildings for the time being.
