OHIO, USA — If a global pandemic wasn't enough, let's add severe weather to the mix.
On Wednesday, residents across Northeast Ohio were tasked with cleaning up after severe storms hit the area. Residents faced high winds,hail, heavy rain and even tornadoes in some areas.
On Wednesday, 3News' Brandon Simmons visited some of the areas most impacted.
In Medina County, the storm passed through and uprooted several trees.Many of them landing and causing damage to nearby homes. Fortunately, no injuries have been reported.
Simmons also took a trip to Grafton, where a barn was severely damaged. The roof of the barn, home to 15 horses and a calf, was partially blown away. Outside of minor injuries all of the animal were found safe.
As of Monday afternoon, there are thousands of people without power. In some areas, power is not expected to be restore until Thursday.
