A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for almost all of Northeast Ohio, with a warning currently in effect for Portage and Trumbull Counties.
Rain, wind, and hail are already battering the region, with areas like North Royalton and Strongsville being hit especially hard.
The watch will be in effect until 9 p.m. tonight. At this time, no flood alerts have been issued, but standing water has been seen in various spots. Residents are asked to exercise caution.
