Travel Weather | An early taste of Fall-like weather is coming

Fall-like air will spread from the Great Lakes and Upper Midwest through the Northeast tomorrow.

Most areas in this corridor can expect sunny, dry weather with low humidity. The cool, dry air will fall short of reaching the central Plains to the lower mid-Atlantic, where rounds of heavy thunderstorms and localized flooding are expected in this swath.

Storms will be scattered across the Southern states, with the bulk of the downpours focusing on part of southeastern Texas and southern Louisiana. Locally feisty storms could erupt over the High Plains, while spotty storms will dot parts of Arizona and New Mexico.
