Weather across the nation for December 12, 2018

A batch of snow will continue to streak through the central Appalachians and reach the upper mid-Atlantic coast tomorrow.

The snow can create a slick coating on roadways. Otherwise, the balance of the Northeast can expect a dry day. 

Outside of spotty showers along Florida's east coast, the southern Atlantic Seaboard will be dry.

Meanwhile, a new storm will gather strength over the South Central states and unleash soaking rain over the middle and lower Mississippi Valley. 

Snow or a rain and snow mix may fall along the northwestern fringe of precipitation across the central and southern Plains. 

A bit of snow will skirt through northern Minnesota. Washington will continue to get soaked by heavy rain and mountain snow, while the rest of the West is dry this day.
