Weather across the nation on April 18, 2019

Unsettled and potentially dangerous weather will overspread the Eastern Seaboard tomorrow.

While showers and rounds of rain inundate the Northeast, thunder is expected across the mid-Atlantic.

Severe storms can occur as far north as Philadelphia and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, while the most widespread severe weather will develop across the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida with damaging winds, hail and even tornadoes.

Flooding is possible up and down the East Coast. It will be breezy, cooler and windy from the Great Lakes to the Mississippi Valley. The central and western United States will turn out largely dry and warmer, with temperatures topping 100 F in the Desert Southwest.

Clouds and showers are expected across the Pacific Northwest.
