Dry, sunny conditions will stretch from the Upper Midwest and New England to the interior Southeast.

Temperatures are forecast to climb closer to seasonable levels in the Northeast. A flow off the Atlantic Ocean may trigger showers across the Florida Peninsula.

A storm will slowly move across the nation's midsection, unleashing beneficial rainfall over the central and southern Plains.

eavy to locally strong storms may ignite across east-central Texas. Rain and snow will wind down over the Colorado Rockies.

The Pacific Northwest will get brushed by rain as a storm skirts to the north. The balance of the West can expect a dry day with a good deal of sunshine.
