The rest of the eastern United States will experience calm, sunnier weather and seasonable temperatures.
A bit of snow moving through the northern Great Lakes region will bring small accumulations to the Upper Peninsula while a stronger storm develops to the south.
Heavy rain will inundate much of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and southern Kansas while ice and snow fall over northeastern Kansas and Missouri.
Snow is also expected to blanket much of Colorado. Otherwise, sunny weather is expected throughout the Rockies and the Northwest.
