Weather across the nation on May 16, 2019

Widespread showers will dampen the Northeast tomorrow as thunderstorms rumble through the Ohio Valley and to the upper mid-Atlantic coast.

A few of the storms in this swath can turn heavy and gusty. Outside of stray thunderstorms dampening the southern Appalachians and South Florida, a good portion of the South can expect a dry, sunny and very warm day.
