Winter storm aftermath: Show us your snow photos

Many crews are now in cleanup mode to clear the wintry mess from Tuesday's winter storm.

GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio — Editor's note: Video at the top of this story was originally published on Dec. 1, 2020.

Yikes!

Tuesday's winter storm was quite a doozy -- especially in areas of the primary snowbelt where heavy snow and gusty winds brought down trees and power lines.

And let's not forget about the traffic headaches...

As thousands are still without electricity more than 24 hours after the storm first hit Northeast Ohio, crews are in cleanup mode to clear the mess left behind by Mother Nature's wintry fury.

That's where you come in. We want to see your pictures that show the aftermath of Tuesday's winter storm. Are there downed trees in your neighborhood? You can submit your photos by using the free WKYC app (you'll find the submission button on the home page). You can also text your pictures to us at 216-344-3300 -- please include your name and location.

We will review the snowy submissions and possibly use them on TV during one of our newscasts or share them here on WKYC.com.

Here's a look at some of the storm's aftermath with downed trees in Geauga County's Russell Township:
