Winter Weather Advisory issued for parts of Northeast Ohio

The advisory is in effect until 6 a.m. Sunday.

Parts of Northeast Ohio are currently under a Winter Weather Advisory according to the National Weather Service of Cleveland.

3News Chief Meteorologist Betsy Kling also tweeted out the alert Saturday afternoon, letter WKYC viewers know to be ready for wintry weather this weekend! You can click here to follow Betsy on Twitter for the latest weather updates. 

Tonight, Northeast Ohioans can expect gusty weather with scattered rain and snow showers. It will be much colder than yesterday with temps in the low 40s. Sunday will bring lake effect rain and snow and then area-wide snowy conditions with temps hovering around 40.
