LeBron James Family Foundation students and parents have private concert with Akron Symphony

A lucky group of fourth graders and their families were treated to a private concert by the Akron Symphony, thanks in part to the LeBron James Family Foundation.

LeBron James and his Family Foundation are all about education, kids, and family.

Recently, a lucky group of fourth graders and their families were treated to a private concert by the Akron Symphony where they got up close and personal with the instruments and the musicians.

It's a petting zoo like no other. Where kids touch instruments instead of animals.

They can see new things, and hear new things. Well, new to many. The Akron Symphony played classics by Rossini (William Tell Overture), Bach, and Wagner. The kids and their parents were all ears.

The orchestra brought the house down with some new classics too, including Star Wars and 'Let it Go' from Frozen.

Kids were singing along and so were parents. The concert continued in the EJ Thomas Hall lobby during lunch.

Exposing kids to things that may not have the opportunity to experience is huge part of the LeBron James Family Foundation mission.

Who knows? Maybe one of these kids will take the seeds of inspiration planted in them by classical music and reach the stars.
