See the Possible: LeBron James Family Foundation students spend the day at WKYC

160 I PROMISE Akron students spent the day in front and behind the camera to get an up close look into what it takes to operate a daily news station.

Dream big.

It's words of encouragment often shared by the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF) with its students each day. Today was no different.

About 160 I PROMISE Akron students spent the day in front and behind the camera to get an up close look into what it takes to operate a daily news station. From inside a control room to working with camera equipment, the 6th grade students toured the station's Akron-Canton Mobile Newsroom, control room, and live studio.

Nine students were chosen to become apprentices, shadowing producers, directors and even the hosts of Lakeside Today.

The foundation's "experience outings" gives students a chance to see the possible when it comes to their future careers.

Wednesday's trip marked the foundation's 4th straight year visiting media partner WKYC.
