Sara Shookman opens up about losing her father to cancer and the fight to find a cure
July 18, 2019: Cancer touches so many families, and the Shookmans are one of them. As WKYC partners and participates in Cleveland Clinic's VeloSano fundraiser this weekend, Channel 3 anchor Sara Shookman is sharing her father's cancer journey. Sara's dad, Scott, was diagnosed with appendiceal cancer in 2013 and passed away on Feb. 15, 2015.
