Vandal ordered to paint railings outside Painesville courthouse with toothbrush

July 11, 2019: Avery White was given two choices. He could either spend 10 days in jail or paint outdoor railings at the Painesville courthouse. White chose the second option. The twist? He must do the painting with a toothbrush. The 'creative' punishment came Thursday from Judge Michael Cicconetti after White was charged with criminal mischief for spray painting graffiti on a caboose owned by the Grand River Railway.
