
CLEVELAND -- Cuyahoga County is ranked third in the country for lead poisoning in children. High levels of lead in children can lead to lower IQ and behavior problems.
To mark Ohio Lead Awareness month, Cuyahoga County is helping families find out if their children are at risk.
Free Lead Testing is available at the following locations:
- July 21 4:30-7:30 p.m. Michael Zone 6301 Lorain Rd.
- July 22 4:30-7:30 p.m. Central 2526 Central Ave.
- July 23 4:30-7:30 Glenville 680 E. 113th St.
- July 24 4:30-7:30 E.C. MLK 14801 Shaw Ave.
- July 25 4:30-7:30 p.m. JFK 17300 Harvard Ave,
- Lead Safe Cuyahoga Program offers up to $10,000 to repair lead contaminated homes. Call 216-201-2000
