BAY VILLAGE -- Martha Donahoo, the beloved wife of Del Donahoo, died Tuesday evening after a long illness.

Martha was 85-years-old.

Martha and Del were as close as any couple could be.

They met in college in Iowa in the 1940's and were married for fifty-eight years.

Del called Martha the "perfect wife" and the "perfect mother" of their two children. They had four grandchildren.

Martha would get up at 330am every single day with Del and make him breakfast before he headed into the station.

She also accompanied Del to every speaking engagement and appearance--and was a celebrity in her own right!

Funeral arrangements are pending at this time.
