DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- A Dayton Art Institute exhibit on the life of Marilyn Monroe is upsetting some museum patrons.
There are about 250 items devoted to Monroe at the exhibit, including several photographs of the 1950s icon in the nude.
The museum?s brochures, posters and signs warn visitors that the exhibit is only for mature audiences.
Comments in the museum?s guest book show that some see the images as pornography, while others believe them to be art.
The museum?s director of education, Susan Anable, says art can challenge people and sometimes make them feel uncomfortable.
The exhibit began April 28th and ends June 24th.
