Cleveland Museum of Art will reopen June 30

Rigorous safety procedures will be implemented.

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Museum of Art will open their doors on June 30 at 10 a.m.

The museum has been closed for months due to the COVID-19 crisis. It will have rigorous safety procedures in place that adhere to the guidance set by by state and local officials as well as the CDC.

For example, a limited number of free, reservation-only timed tickets for June 30 and the month of July will be available to members in a pre-sale beginning June 18 and available to the public from June 22. Parking fees for the museum's garage may be paid in advance during the ticketing process.

In this first phase of reopening, a staggered maximum of 500 visitors per day will be permitted in the museum. The facility will continue to offer digital resources that will allow audiences to connect with the museum from home as social distancing protocols remain in place.

Guests that visit the museum in person will have their temperature taken and must wear face coverings. The cafe and restaurant, museum store, and coat check will remain closed at this time.

Free in-person tickets will be limited to eight per person. No tickets will be available at the museum; they must be pre-purchased.

Tickets will initially be available from June 30 through the month of July. On the 15th of each month, additional tickets will be released for the following month.
