Tickets are now on sale for the 2022 Tennis in the Land event put on by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA).

Tennis in the Land will take place at the Jacob's Pavilion Aug. 20-27 and will feature 32 of the top WTA singles players in the world. The event will also feature doubles and qualifying matches.

This event is part of the US Open Series and will serve as the final opportunity for players to dial in their game before one of the biggest tennis tournaments of the year.

Last year's Tennis in the Land event was watched live by more than 4.5 million viewers around the world and featured 50 hours of live coverage across Tennis Channel and Bally's Sports Ohio.

“If our first year was any indication, Cleveland has a strong appetite for big-time women’s sports events,” said Kyle Ross, Tournament Director of Tennis in the Land. “Last year’s attendance was amazing throughout the week and the quality of tennis was truly world-class; I’m excited to kick-off another year and continue to grow the event into one of the highlights of the downtown summer landscape.”

The Jacob's Pavilion has a total capacity of 2,100. The Tennis in the Land event had near sellouts last year with the Finals of the tournament selling out.
