CLEVELAND — Big stars have been spotted in Cleveland, including Spider-Man's Tom Holland, as the Russo brothers shoot their newest movie, Cherry.

A week before the filming started, Georgio’s Pizza got a letter explaining their street would be closed Monday, November 4th due to a movie production.

Owner Sherif Gheprial says the street closure did slow his business down a bit.

“I lose my lunch, but after that it gets busy, you know,” says Gheprial.

Georgio’s got busy when some crew members decided to have pizza for lunch.

“It’s a new experience for us, you know? It’s been good times. It’s not lots busy inside my store, but we spend good times. We need something good for Detroit Avenue and Cleveland overall, you know,” says Gheprial.

It was also exciting for people like Joe Burdick, who took pictures of the movie filming.

“I knew that they were filming downtown, so I promised my daughter, my 16-year-old daughter, that I’d take her down there and see a little movie magic, see how it’s made,” says Burdick.

But she walked away with more than just memories of actor Tom Holland, she got a souvenir.

“He went up to my daughter, asked what her name was, she said,'Miranda,' he said ‘Hi Miranda’ and signed an autograph for her. He was so nice. My daughter told me it was the greatest day of her life. And for me, I was able to give that to her, so I wish I could thank him for doing that,” says Burdick.
