Cleveland man wanted for holding up a man at a gas station

CLEVELAND — On December 23, 2019, police claim Glen Rankins held a man at gunpoint in a gas station near E.123rd and St. Clair Avenue in Cleveland. The victim tried to run for cover, but was shot in the face. The man was able to flee the store and drive himself to the hospital.

Now, police say Rankins is wanted for felonious assault in the incident.

Rankins is a black male, 33, 5 feet 6 inches and 145 lbs. His last known address is near the 14700 block of Elm Avenue in East Cleveland.

He is to be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
