You can watch the security footage of the break-in in the video player above.

North Olmsted Police arrested Warren Daniels as the suspect of a breaking and entering incident that occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Police say that they responded to the GetGo located at 27268 Lorain Road at 1:34 a.m. on Tuesday following a report of three glass break alarms.

Upon arriving, officers observed the exterior window that led to the area behind the register counter was broken and that there was broken glass, a shopping cart and two packs of cigarettes located outside near the broken window. Upon entering, officers were unable to locate anybody in the store and observed two large pieces of concrete, multiple packs of cigarettes, and broken glass on the floor located behind the register counter.

Twenty minutes after the officers' arrival, a keyholder at the store arrived and provided the officers with access to the store's security camera footage. The footage shows a Black male wearing a black plastic bag over his head, a white tank top shirt, khaki pants, black undergarments, gray/black shoes, a black belt, and carrying a black backpack throwing two pieces of concrete through the store's window before entering.

After exiting the store through the same broken window, the man can be seen grabbing a clear, plastic bag out of the trash can and placing it in his back pocket before fleeing north. At approximately 2:11 a.m., an officer located a man who matched the description of the suspect at the Shell Gas Station at 25199 Lorain Rd.

After identifying the man as Warren Daniels, officers found 16 cigarette packs in his backpack, which matched the description of the items taken from GetGo. The value of the stolen items totaled $157.67.

Daniels was arrested on a warrant and as a suspect for the Breaking and Entering and transported to NOPD and booked into the jail.
