Suspects wanted after multiple vehicles stolen from Alfa Romeo dealership in Strongsville: See which vehicles have been recovered

Police say the suspects were wearing dark-colored clothing, masks, and gloves.

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio — Police are searching for multiple suspects who are wanted after several vehicles were stolen from the Alfa Romeo of Strongsville car dealership early Tuesday morning.

Authorities say they received a call at 5:19 a.m. about possible thefts from the dealership. Upon their arrival at the scene at 11800 Pearl Road, officers say they found a garage door window was broken out at the rear of the building.

“Preliminary investigation and review of inside video recordings show four unknown individuals wearing dark-colored hooded clothing, masks and gloves,” according to a press release from the Strongsville Police Department.

Police say the suspects located key fobs and stole the following vehicles -- some of which have since been recovered:

  • 2021 Lexus LC 500 convertible: Marron in color with a tan top. VIN number is JTHKPAAY2MA104373
  • 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLS 63 (vehicle recovered): White in color. VIN number is 4JGED6EB4JA097038
  • 2018 Mercedes-Benz GLE (vehicle recovered): Grey in color. VIN number is 4JGDF7FE6JB182235
  • 2020 Audi TT (vehicle recovered): Blue in color. VIN number is WUAASAFV8L1900427
  • 2018 Mercedes-Benz 63 (vehicle recovered): Black in color. VIN number is WDDZF6EB8JA433666
  • 2018 Mercedes E Class (vehicle recovered)
  • 2018 Cadillac CTS
  • 2020 BMW X3M
  • 2019 BMW M5

An orange Jeep Trailhawk that was originally reported missing was not stolen, police noted.

3News' Neil Fischer has learned the stolen vehicles had tracking devices on them, but the suspects disabled them in Cleveland, about 23 miles away.

Fender also noted how the key fobs likely weren't kept in the safest place, allowing the thieves easy access.

"Please lock those fobs in a locked safe, a secure safe," Fender warned. "Not a filing cabinet, not a locked door in a desk, in a secured safe."

3News attempted to speak with employees at the dealership, but they declined to comment.
