Akron police find man shot to death in his car

The man was found with a bullet to his head.

Akron police are investigating the homicide of a 35-year-old man that happened late Friday night. 

Officers found the man inside a vehicle in a driveway on the 200 block of Noble Avenue with an apparent gunshot wound to the head around 11:30 p.m..

The man was pronounced dead at the hospital. Detectives believe someone fired several shots, that hit the man as he was sitting driver seat of his car. Police say a nearby home was also shot up.

There are no arrests as of now, and police say the shooter fled the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
