Akron police searching for 3 suspects who allegedly vandalized Shaw JCC: Watch surveillance footage

They’re accused of breaking windows, setting off fire extinguishers and spray painting obscenities on the pool deck / signs.

AKRON, Ohio — In hopes of finding the people responsible, the Akron Police Department released surveillance video Tuesday morning from an incident last month in which three people allegedly vandalized the Shaw JCC facility in the 700 block of White Pond Drive.

NOTE: You can watch the surveillance video at the bottom of this story.

Police say it was back on May 30 when one male and two females “climbed the fence surrounding the pool and vandalized the facility.”

They’re accused of breaking windows, setting off fire extinguishers and spray painting obscenities on the pool deck / signs.

Police say the trio arrived at the location in a black minivan.
