CLEVELAND — 3News has learned that one person is dead after a car struck a four-story brick building in the 1400 block of W. 25th St. and was engulfed in flames.
According to Mike Norman of the Cleveland Division of Fire, a single occupant inside the car was ejected from the vehicle upon impact with the building.
An eyewitness on scene tells 3News that the car was traveling westbound on Detroit Avenue and ran through an intersection, never attempting to stop. The car crashed into the building and burst into flames.
Cleveland Police have closed West 25th Street southbound from Detroit to Church.
