LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- The death of a 70-year-old man is being investigated as suspicious after his body was found Monday morning.
Authorities say his body was located when Lakewood officers responded to the man’s home in the 1600 block of Robinwood Avenue to perform a welfare check. Police had received a call from a concerned neighbor saying they had not seen Daniel Donlan for several days despite attempts to contact him.
“I’ve knocked on his door several times over the weekend,” the neighbor told police in a 911 call.
His body was taken to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.
No additional details were immediately provided.
