The Lake County Sheriff's Office is engaged in a search for a missing 54-year-old Willoughby Hills man.
Investigators say Steve Dryer was last seen on Monday after dropping his son off at school. His car was found at Perry Township Park that evening with keys still in the ignition and Dryer's wallet in the front seat. He did not show up for work and did not come back to pick up his son after school.
According to park security cameras, Dryer arrived at Perry Township Park at 9:25 a.m. on Monday morning.
Sheriff's Deputies and investigators searched the area all day Tuesday, using their drone to cover as much area as possible. The United States Coast Guard was called in and their Ice Team searched the shoreline and brought their helicopter our of Detroit to search the extended area.
The search is continuing on Wednesday.
