Person of interest in Lorain murder investigation turns himself in

LORAIN, Ohio — The Lorain Police Department confirms person of interest in a recent murder investigation turned himself in Tuesday evening.

Fernando "Beba" Molina was wanted in connection to the murder of Robert Gonzalez on Feb. 5. According to police, the crime took place on Eagle Avenue in Lorain.

Police did not release the details surrounding the murder nor did they explain how Molina is allegedly connected to the crime. Officials originally sent out an alert seeking Molina this afternoon, but later sent an update saying he was now in custody.
