'Walk, Rock and Run' campaign kicks off for 19th straight year

3News' Russ Mitchell is serving as grand marshal for the virtual event.

BEACHWOOD, Ohio — The 19th annual "Walk, Rock and Run" campaign kicked off today in Cleveland, once again raising money for the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio.

The event will be virtual for a second straight year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and participants can walk wherever they want to: neighborhood, park, treadmill, or wherever else is convenient. In addition, 3News' Russ Mitchell will serve as grand marshal.

The diversity center celebrates justice, equity, and inclusion in the area. All of the money raised will go toward schools and youth programming.

Those wishing to participate can still do so, as registration runs through June 4. Head to diversitycenterneo.org for more info.
