DONATE HERE: WKYC Studios & Cleveland Indians' 'Our Kids, Our Tribe' fundraiser continues for Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio

We've raised over $60,000 already for Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio. Our coverage on 3News continues until 8:00 p.m. tonight.

CLEVELAND — WKYC Studios was proud team up with the Cleveland Indians for a multi-platform digital and televised fundraiser today to benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio during this current COVID-19 pandemic. 

Our initiative is called “Our Kids, Our Tribe."  While our live televised and digital coverage has ended, you can still donate here.

We are so incredibly proud of the generosity of all of you in Northeast Ohio. Through corporate donations and online giving, we've raised nearly $75,000 so far. 

Special thanks to the following donors for their support of "Our Kids, Our Tribe":

  • Cleveland Indians - $20,000
  • Dollar Bank - $20,000
  • Kaulig Giving - $10,000
  • TEGNA Foundation - $5,000
  • Crescent Digital - $5,000

The proceeds generated from "Our Kids, Our Tribe" will go towards the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio's creation of virtual programming during this pandemic, plus meals, membership fees and more.

We had a special digital show on WKYC.com, the 3News app, Facebook Live, and YouTube with Nick Camino and Ben Axelrod starting at 6:30 p.m. tonight. Our coverage the switched over to 3News starting at 7 p.m. with Front Row and continued until 8 p.m. Jim Donovan had  interviews with Indians players, alumni, and kids from the Clubs.
