Jordan was promptly arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and failure to use a turn signal.

Police tell 3News that they believe Jordan to be connected to a recent string of mail thefts in the Bath Township area, as well as several other surrounding communities. Detectives are currently processing the recovered evidence and say they will be contacting anyone who had property found inside of Jordan's vehicle.

At this time, officials are recommending that homeowners avoid placing outgoing mail in residential mailboxes. Police also recommend signing up for informed delivery with the United States Postal Service, which can be done here
