What would Cleveland Indians pitcher Mike Clevinger wish for if he met a genie? See his genius response in 'Beyond the Dugout'

We go 'Beyond the Dugout' for an in-depth conversation with Mike Clevinger.

CLEVELAND — Get to know more about Mike Clevinger as we go "Beyond the Dugout" with the Cleveland Indians starting pitcher.

Question: Favorite baseball memory as a kid?

Clevinger: Probably my Cooperstown home run. I think that was a great memory. Getting that home run that you knew was going into the Youth Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, that was big!

Question: What’s a perfect off day for you in Cleveland?

Clevinger: Get up, take the girls to park. Get breakfast at First Watch in Crocker, get the girls back and have a sitter and then go to Greenhouse Tavern downtown and then have a nice steak and some good crispy brussel sprouts and then a movie. That would probably be the ideal off-day.

Question: If we had a genie here and you had one wish what would it be?

Clevinger: For more genies, (laugh) yeah!

Question: That’s a no-brainer, right?

Clevinger: Yeah, no brainer.
