Bally Sports Ohio welcomes new Cleveland Cavaliers sideline reporter, Serena Winters

Winters will replace Angel Gray who left for a new opportunity with ESPN last month.

Bally Sports Ohio is welcoming a new addition. 

On Thursday, the media organization welcomed Serena Winters as its new Cleveland Cavaliers sideline reporter. 

“Serena is an experienced NBA broadcaster who will be a great addition to our existing broadcast team,” stated Randy Stephens, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Bally Sports Ohio. “She has a knowledge and passion for the game that is presented in a fun and engaging way, which meshes perfectly with a Cavaliers team that is proving to be one of the most exciting in the entire League.”

Winters is replacing Angel Gray who departed the organization last month for an opportunity with ESPN. Gray had been on Cavaliers broadcasts since the 2018-19 season. 

In January, Winters will take the reigns from Andre Knott will has be filling in for Gray since her departure.

Winters joins the Bally Sports Ohio team with more than a decade of experience, having previously served as a reporter, host and analyst for the NBA. In her most recent role, she acted as the host and producer of 'Locked on 76ers, a daily podcast offering news, stats and analysis of the Philadelphia 76ers and NBA.  

Winters will make her debut during the Cavs-Pacers game on Sunday, January 2. Hear her message to fans in then player below:
