Winter Storm Warnings canceled hours early

Say goodbye to the snow storm.

We have some good news!

The National Weather Service has canceled the Winter Storm Warning for most impacted counties several hours earlier than expected.

The warnings were originally slated to expire at 10 a.m., but most were nixed before 7 a.m.

But not everybody has been put in the all-clear just yet. A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the following counties until 10 a.m. Saturday:

- Carroll

- Columbiana

- Coshocton

- Tuscarawas

There are some lingering lake effect snow showers wobbling in areas west of Cleveland, but the winter storm system is leaving Ohio.

Snow-covered road conditions have created tough travel -- especially south in the Akron / Canton areas.

The rest of the weekend will be cold with snow chances returning Monday.
