How many of us have a true friend with a developmental or intellectual disability? Not a family member, not a church acquaintance, but a companion. Most typical people don't create organic relationships with those who have disabilities, but one organization is trying to change that.
Nick and Austin met through Best Buddies at OSU Mansfield. It's an organization with the goal of facilitating true friendships between typical people and those with developmental disabilities. They have chapters across the state of Ohio.
