A group of Canton firefighters are being lauded as heroes after they successfully saved a woman who was pinned underneath a car Wednesday morning.
Police bodycam footage from the scene on Poplar Ave. shows the workers using inflated airbags to lift the vehicle off of the woman and pull her out.
Officials on the video said she had been walking in the driveway when the car backed out of the garage. The driver failed to see her, and she was dragged underneath.
The woman was then transported to the hospital and is expected to recover.
