Cleveland Metroparks close vehicle access to Edgewater Park, Whiskey Island and Wendy Park

The Cleveland Metroparks closed vehicle access to Edgewater Park, Whiskey Island and Wendy Park shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday.

Shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday, the Cleveland Metroparks closed vehicle access to Edgewater Park, Whiskey Island and Wendy Park. Limited access is still available to all other marinas and yacht clubs.

Additionally, Cleveland Metroparks is asking that visitors not to park in undesignated areas, in picnic areas, grassy areas or on medians in order to ensure everybody's safety. Earlier on Monday, footage showed the beach area of Edgewater Park crowded with people, practicing varying degrees of social distancing.
