Cleveland police used surveillance footage and witness information to link Moore to a spree of six aggravated robberies during June 2023. Additionally, officials said that Moore lived at a residence near all of the robberies.

Moore was arrested on June 29 after police conducted a search at his residence, locating clothing worn during the robberies and victims’ items from the robberies.

Previously, on Jan. 25, Moore pleaded guilty to the following charges:

  • Six counts of Aggravated Robbery
  • One count of Extortion
  • One count of Having Weapons While Under Disability

“Yesterday, LaDon Moore was sentenced to 18 years in prison for his aggravated robbery spree in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood,” said Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley. “Moore terrorized and targeted innocent people, including women going to church, and robbed them at gunpoint for a month. His conviction and 18-year sentence will certainly make this neighborhood safer!”
