Dave Chudowsky is a morning news anchor on 3News' GO! from 4:30 to 7 a.m. alongside Maureen Kyle, Hollie Strano and Carmen Blackwell.

He's been at the NBC affiliate for 16 years, moving back home in 2007 to cover the sports teams he grew up rooting for.

Dave’s favorite station growing up was 3News, and it’s a “dream come true” to work here. It was always his goal!

He began co-anchoring the morning newscasts in October 2018 where you can watch his ongoing Game Changers series, which is focused on leaders who are making an impact in Northeast Ohio.

Born and raised in Bay Village, "Chud" graduated from Bay High School in 1993 before attending the University of Toledo where he graduated Cum Laude with a degree in broadcast journalism.

Dave has been in the broadcasting industry for 28 years. Before working in Cleveland, he spent time in Toledo at WTVG ABC followed by the Ohio News Network/WBNS.

You may have also seen Dave during preseason Browns football as the sideline reporter. Dave has also spent time working at Sportstime Ohio covering the Indians pre-game and post-game shows, Browns programming and the state high school football championships.

Dave has great memories of covering the biggest games and events in our history, including the Buckeyes national championship in 2003 and the incredible 2016 year in Cleveland that included the Cavaliers NBA championship and Indians world series appearance.

Dave has a huge passion for high school sports (he was on the first Bay High football team to ever qualify for the state playoffs) and host of Friday Night Fever for years at 3News. Dave also hosted Sports Tonight on Channel 3 during his time in the sports department.

He has hosted many shows over the years at 3News, including Sports Tonight and the Olympic Zone.

Dave is a board member at the Cleveland Hearing and Speech Center and has hosted the Cleveland Big Wheel Relay for 11 years. While Dave loves all Cleveland teams, his favorite team is at home.

Dave and his wife, Lindsay, will celebrate 15 years of marriage in March of 2024. They have two daughters, Brooklyn (13) and London (11).
