NORTH ROYALTON, Ohio — It is the end of an era in North Royalton.

After 57 years in business, Carrie Cerino's Ristorante & Party Center announced that it closed effective on Tuesday.

Carrie Cerino's was well-known for their classic Italian dishes, but if you grew up in Strongsville, North Royalton, Middleburg Heights, Parma, or surrounding suburbs, chances are you probably had a significant event at Carrie Cerino's. They were a signature destination for proms and wedding receptions.

"With a heavy heart, owner, Carmen Cerino, made the difficult decision to close and hopes to use the time off to enjoy his growing family," Carrie Cerino's Facebook post concluded. "The Cerino Family would like to thank the community and their loyal customers for allowing them to serve them over the years."
